Amazon Prime Day is coming on July 15 and 16! It’s like Christmas in July! If you’re looking for a big-ticket item, Prime Day is probably your best bet after Black Friday. Even if you’re not looking for a new TV or laptop, Prime Day brings with it lots of great sales on things like toys, fashion, and household items. Last year, I snagged a handheld vacuum and an interesting Lego set.
The thing about Prime Day is — as you can tell by the name — you need to be an Amazon Prime member to take full advantage. Some highly sought-after items are available only for Prime members. This was the case in 2017, when the Nintendo Switch was shiny and new. There wasn’t a killer deal on it, but when Amazon did get it back in stock, it was available only to Prime members.
If you are not currently an Amazon Prime member, you can get a 30 day free trial just in time for the big day!
Have no fear, fellow Canadians: this big event is available on Amazon.ca as well.
Want even more savings? Ebates offers cash back on eligible purchases from lots of online retailers, including Amazon. Swagbucks not only offers points for completing surveys, but also offers points back on eligible Amazon purchases as well. The points can be redeemed for gift cards! I use both of these sites.
