Pirates and roller coasters? What’s not to love? Some 34-year-olds get jewelry and wine for their birthday, others get Lego. This one was a gift from my family. Oliver was anxious to help me build it, so I set up the camera and let him help. The camera was on a tripod and took a picture every 10 seconds, much like it did when I built Tower Bridge. (You’ll notice some decor changes since that video. Also, Oliver was in utero!)
Quentin wanted to help too, though he was only really interested in putting the minifigs and skeleton together. He also tried to put the tracks together, but couldn’t figure them out (they didn’t snap together anyway). They both eventually lost interest, leaving me to build alone while they ran around the house pretending to be ninjas.
